These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern the use of the web-based service dummyemail.de (hereinafter "Service" or "Platform"), accessible at https://dummyemail.de.

By accessing or using the Platform — whether with or without registration — the user (hereinafter "User") agrees to be bound by these Terms in their current version. Users who do not accept these Terms are not permitted to use the Service.

These Terms apply to all forms of use, including anonymous use without registration as well as use with a free registered account.

dummyemail.de provides a free service for creating and using temporary, anonymous email addresses. The Service includes in particular:

• Automatic generation of a temporary email address upon page load
• Real-time inbox for incoming messages without manual refresh
• Receipt of emails including file attachments
• Choice of at least five different email domains
• Custom alias and domain selection
• QR code generation for quick access on other devices
• Display of the last received emails (up to 10 entries)
• Automatic deletion of the mailbox after the validity period expires

Registered Users additionally receive:

• Extended mailbox validity period
• Access to additional email domains
• Ability to integrate custom domains
• Option to mark emails as favorites
• Reduced usage restrictions compared to anonymous use

Basic use of the Service does not require registration. A free account may be created to unlock extended features.

When registering, the User is obligated to:

• Provide truthful and complete information
• Keep login credentials confidential and secure from unauthorized access
• Notify dummyemail.de immediately in case of suspected unauthorized use of the account

Each person may only maintain one user account. Sharing the account with third parties is not permitted. The User is responsible for all activities carried out under their account, unless unauthorized use has been promptly reported.

The Service may only be used for lawful and intended purposes. In particular, Users are prohibited from:

• Using the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Using the Service to distribute spam, malware, phishing content, or other harmful material
• Circumventing security systems of third-party platforms or manipulating identity verification processes
• Conducting automated mass registrations or systematically scraping mailboxes without prior written consent
• Overloading or disrupting the Platform through excessive requests, DDoS attacks, or similar means
• Distributing copyrighted content without authorization
• Using the Service to circumvent legal requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
• Receiving or forwarding content that promotes criminal activities or violates applicable law

Temporary email addresses have a default validity period of 2 hours from the time of creation. Registered Users may benefit from an extended validity period.

Upon expiration, the mailbox and all contained emails are automatically and irrevocably deleted. Users have no right to recovery of deleted data.

The Service is provided "as is" and without any guarantee of specific availability. dummyemail.de reserves the right to interrupt, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time, in whole or in part, including for:

• Maintenance and technical updates
• Security measures
• Force majeure or technical disruptions

There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability of the Service.

Protecting user privacy is a high priority for dummyemail.de. The key data protection principles of the Service are:

• No personal data is collected or stored during anonymous use
• Temporary email addresses and mailbox contents are fully and irrevocably deleted after expiry
• No user data is shared with third parties
• Cookies are used in accordance with the Service's published privacy policy

The Service is provided free of charge and without warranty. dummyemail.de assumes no liability for:

• Data loss resulting from automatic deletion after the validity period expires
• Non-delivery or delay of emails caused by external mail servers
• Damages arising from misuse of the Service by third parties
• Interruptions or outages of the Platform
• Consequential damages, lost profits, or indirect damages of any kind
• Content of emails received through the Service

Liability for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, as well as for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, remains unaffected to the extent required by law.

To the extent permitted under applicable law, the total liability of dummyemail.de arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (which, for the free Service, shall be zero).

All rights to the dummyemail.de platform — including design, source code, logos, text, and other content — are protected by copyright and remain with the operator or respective rights holders.

The User is granted a simple, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes. Any use beyond this scope — including copying, distribution, licensing, selling, or creating derivative works — requires the express written consent of the operator.

dummyemail.de reserves the right to change, expand, or restrict the Service and these Terms at any time. Changes to the Terms will be published on the Platform and take effect upon publication.

Registered Users will be notified of material changes where contact details are available. Continued use of the Service after amended Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Users are encouraged to review this page regularly for updates.

Registered Users may delete their account at any time without providing a reason. Data stored upon registration will be deleted in accordance with the applicable privacy policy.

dummyemail.de reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User's access — including without prior notice — if:

• There is reasonable suspicion of a violation of these Terms
• Abusive or fraudulent use of the Service is identified
• The User's conduct impairs the functionality of the Service
• Legal obligations require such action

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers within the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence shall take precedence.

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that comes closest to the economic purpose of the original.
